By law all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register, which replaced CORGI as the gas registration body in April 2009. OFTEC

Oftec No: C1220

OFTEC is the Oil Fired Technical Association. They are recognised by the Government, oil companies, heating appliance and tank manufacturers as being the acceptable trade body in technician training & assessment for the domestic heating, oil distribution and commercial oil firing industry. For the oil industry in England and Wales, OFTEC registered technicians are the only people defined as ‘competent’ and able to self certify their work without the need for informing the local building control department. Worcester Accredited Installer (WAI)

As a WAI we are accredited to install Worcester boilers, solar water heating and heat pumps to the highest standard and can offer longer guarantees along with helpful advice and tips.

All WAI’s must have relevant Gas Safe, OFTEC and/or MCS approval and to be a Worcester Accredited Installer for certain products, they must also have attended Logic certified training courses on our boilers, solar thermal systems, heat pumps and/or underfloor heating.

Grant G-CERT Accredited

G-CERT is a scheme from Grant UK through which Grant can certify renewable installations for MCS accreditation on behalf of us the installer. Engineers have to meet the schemes strict criteria to become a G-CERT Sub-Contractor, which includes having a proven reputable trading history including all adequate business insurances, a minimum of 5 years relevant installation experience and the completion of Grants product training for the relevant technologies.
